Coach Kathleen

Kathleen Youngstrom

Kathleen brings a unique combination of teaching, coaching, military leadership, and a lifelong passion for fitness to her work as a personal trainer.

After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in education and a commission in the U.S. Army, Kathleen served in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. She later became a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom before returning to the classroom and eventually spending five years in field sales. Throughout each chapter, one thing remained constant: her love of teaching, coaching, and helping others grow.

That passion, combined with her love of an active lifestyle, led Kathleen to pursue certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Nutrition Coaching, and most recently, yoga.

Kathleen’s training philosophy is centered on longevity, functional movement, and helping people build a strong, capable body for life. Her workouts incorporate science-supported exercises designed to improve strength, stability, mobility, and overall health. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness and that different forms of movement can support both physical and mental well-being.

Her philosophy is simple: Being fit and healthy makes doing the things you love even more fun—and effective training helps you keep doing them as you age.

When she’s not training clients, you’ll likely find Kathleen running, backpacking, cross-country skiing, paddleboarding, cooking, or getting lost in a good book.
