Coach Nick
Nick Love is a strength and nutrition coach with a passion for helping people develop a love of fitness: one that allows them to look, feel, and perform at their best while showing up as a better version of themselves in all areas of life.
He brings a wide range of experience to The Bar, working with athletes and the general population of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels who want to train hard, stay active, and enjoy life along the way. Nick’s coaching style blends structure with flexibility, combining proven strength training, conditioning, and sustainable nutrition habits that work in the real world.
Before joining The Bar, Nick co-owned and operated a gym alongside his twin brother for over 12 years. During that time, he coached a diverse group of clients and developed his generalist training approach: helping people look good, move well and have fun. He currently is an online coach for Tailored Coaching method where he provides individualized nutrition coaching and training to people all over the world.
After relocating to Helena with his wife Ashlee and daughter Beatrice, he’s excited to continue doing what he loves.
Nick holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and completed an internship with Montana State University’s Strength and Conditioning program. He is a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer (CF-L3), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Bioforce Conditioning Coach, OPEX Level 1 Coach, and Pre-Script Level 2 Coach.
In addition to his training background, Nick specializes in nutrition coaching and behavior change. He holds his Precision Nutrition Level 2 certification, is a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) and is an MNU Certified Nutritionist.
In Nick’s words:
“I believe fitness and nutrition don’t have to be complicated, intimidating, or unsustainable. My goal is to help people use them as tools to improve every area of their life, while finding fulfillment in the process and enjoying the journey.”
